KD 720 Straight Flute Screw Extractor Set 5pc.

Screw Extractor Kit. Removes broken studs, set screws, pipe and Alemite fittings. Drill a hole in the screw and place extractor into hole. Tap lightly with hammer and turn counterclockwise with tap wrench to remove the screw. Features undercut flutes for more positive grip. The extractor has longditudinal cutting flutes which bite into the stud and due to the design exerts very little outward force which tends to happen with a spiral flute design. Drill bit sizes that are to be used before using extractor are listed on each tool and are as follows; 3/8", 5/16", 15/64", 3/16" and 1/8". In some cases this kit can be used to remove broken spark plugs.
