Description

For VVT (Variable Valve Timing) engines 2012 and newer excluding VVL (Variable Valve Lift). Included in this combo kit are the Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep, Mopar 10201Timing Chain Holders and 10369A used on Pentastar 3.6 engines. Also works on 3.6L 2012 VW Routan (Re-badged variation of Dodge/Chrysler Mini Van).

NOTE: 10202-1 is used on the Right Bank and 10369 is used on the Left Bank. If reading repair manual information, take note that the 10369 is used on in place of the 10200-2 wedge 2012 and newer VVT engines. Partial listing below.

10200-1 and 10369 These Timing Chain Holders are used as wedges to loosen the tension on the Timing Chains during Camshaft and Phaser service procedures on the 3.6 L Engine. NOTE: 10200-1 & 10200-3 are used on Driver’s Side 10369 is used on Passenger’s Side.

This kit is not for early 2011 models. 2012 and newer VVT models use the included 10369 in place of a 10200-2, regardless of if your repair manual mentions this or not. Some later production 2011 models may also use the included 10369A, depending on the size of bolt #4 in the front cover tightening sequence on the right bank (cylinder head closest to firewall). If that bolt head is 13MM the 10369A is needed. If it is 10MM the 10200-2 would be used.

Includes:
10200-1
10369-A QTY-2 By popular request we are including a second 10369 in place of the 10200-2. The 10200-2 was only used in early 2011.

Question: How can I tell if I have a VVT engine?

Answer: Many times there will be an engine cover that says VVT, which means Variable Vale Timing. See the image below. If you have a VVL (Variable Valve Lift) this is the wrong kit.
