Baum MU248 8mm Broken Glow Plug Remover Kit for V-6 Sprinter

Used on Sprinter vehicles with V6 diesel engines that use M8×1.0mm glow plugs which have broken off in the cylinder head. Kit contains breaking socket, 3 flute step drill, and thread tap/chaser. Used with the MU121 slide hammer (sold separately). Fits: 8×1.0mm glow plugs.

Remove broken glow plugs in 5 steps.

1. Break the electrode by turning the socket counter-clockwise.

2. Drill pitch away with special 3-fluted step drill bit.

3. Tap the threads into the remaining housing of the glow plug.

4. Clean the threads with compressed air.

5. Remove broken glow plug housing by installing extractor and using slide hammer.
