Description

The OTC brand, 6900 3/8" drive 9/16" spark plug socket is commonly used when changing spark plugs on Ford 3-V engines that are prone to break when removing. The one piece design socket/extension assembly provides a solid "feel" so it's possible to remove and install spark plugs easier without any gaps in connecting the ratchet to plug. The OTC-6900 can also be used with a torque wrench if following Ford's 3-V Sparkplug TSB procedure. Often purchased with the Lisle 65600 or Lisle 65700.

This unique and patented design works on 2004-newer Ford F-150 pickup trucks with 5.4L 3-valve Triton V-8 engines.

• Socket end is 9/16”

• Soft rubber insert holds and protects spark plug during removal and installation.

• Extension is part of the socket. Easily fits down spark plug tube in cylinder head.

• Socket has 3/8” drive for use with a ratchet or breaker bar.
