Ford 3V Spark Plug Threading and Removal Application
The following Ford vehicles have 3V engines that are prone to having spark plug problems. Typically the OE design spark plug may break when trying to do a regular spark plug change for maintenance or because of a misfire.
3V Broken Spark Plug Removal - for broken plugs
To remove or extract broken spark plugs on one of these cars or trucks, see the Lisle 65600, or the Calvan 39100 and 39200 kits. They are used to get the old pieces out without removing the head.
Three Valve Spark Plug Thread Restoration - for damaged threads
To repair spark plug threads in any of the vehicles listed below, see the Calvan 39300 or the TIME-SERT 3221 spark plug thread repair kits. These kits are designed to be used with the cylinder head still on the engine. They are both considered an over the fender repair. Any questions on application feel free to use our contact form or give us a call and we will be happy to help.
