Miller Special Tools (SPX division) MLR 8426 is a special valve spring compressor used with a 3/8" breaker bar or ratchet to remove and replace broken valve springs on some 3.7 and 4.7L engines in Dodge and Jeep vehicles. Below is a partial application list. The Miller 8387 valve spring tool is for some other 3.7 and 4.7's not listed below. It's always best to check service manual to verify which tool number is recommended.

    The tool to get the job done.

    After searching the web to find the tool we needed, I called Wise Auto Tools. They didn't have the exact tool that we were looking for, because it was on factory backorder, but had one better that did the same job and was more versatile. Thank you Wise Auto Tools!
