  • Number 527051 like the Kent Moore J-42038. The OTC-6688 includes 2 Camshaft Holding Tools used on 2001-2002 3.5 Liter Vin H, Oldsmobile Aurora and 1999-2002 Liter Vin H, Oldsmobile Intrigue. Holds camshafts at T.D.C. to ensure proper timing when servicing cam, gears, chains, etc. J-42038 consists of two plates that locate on flats on the ends of the shafts. One used on each cylinder.
  • Number's 536584 and 536585's (one of each) is equivelant to Kent Moore EN-46105 which are the two camshaft holding tools shown below. EN-46105 set of metal plates are positioned over the ends of the camshafts to prevent rotation during timing chain service. The plates are oversized to prevent the valve covers from being installed should the tools be accidentally left on the engine. Note: 2007 and newer with SIDI (Spark Ignition Direct Injection) use EN-48383.

Application: V6 HIGH FEATURE ENGINE

The 3.6L V6 does not use a traditional key for the balancer. EN-46111 is a special socket with a wedge to engage the relief cut to allow rotation of the engine when required for service with the balancer removed.

  • PN 527055 Like Kent Moore J-43032 - CRANKSHAFT SOCKET 

For 3.5L & W engines. The crankshaft must be rotated to TDC during various service procedures. The front end of the LX5 crankshaft features a relief cut to allow for clockwise rotation. J 43032 features special tab that engages in the relief cut while piloting over the crank end. With the balancer off, position J 43032 on the end of the crankshaft and rotate with a 1/2" drive ratchet.

2002 GMT360 (Chevy Trail Blazer, GMC Envoy, Olds Bravada). Holding the camshafts at T.D.C. to ensure proper timing when servicing cams, gears, chains, etc. is important. J-44221 is a metal plate positioned over the ends of the camshaft to prevent rotation. GM Reference number EN-44221.
  • 2001-2004 Chevrolet Tracker 2.5L Timing Chain Tensioner Pin 536586 EN-46330. EN-46330 retains the timing chain guide in a compressed position away from the chain to allow timing chain and gear removal and installation. If the tensioner is not held away from the chain, removal is difficult at best, and installation is impossible. Failure to use EN-46330 will result in component damage.

The timing chain tensioners must be held in a retracted position prior to installation onto the engine assembly. EN-46112 is a set of special harden pins inserted into each tensioner to retain it in a compressed state.
