TIME-SERT 0761D 7/16-14 Chevrolet Big Block Head Bolt Thread Repair Kit

The Time Sert 0761D is a first time repair kit, used to repair head bolt threads in cast iron blocks where the material thickness is approx 5/8 or .625 inches. If doing a repair when a Helicoil or some other comptetitive brand has failed use the Big Sert 5761E kit. On Chevy the head bolt threads are near the surface, that's why the shorter tooling is all that's needed. Also the reason that a counter-bore tool is needed to allow the inserts to sit flush as to not interfere with the cylinder head.
