Description

TIME SERT 5112D Big-Sert oversize thread repair kit M11x1.25 (short tooling). This is a second time repair when Helicoil or some other competitive brand has failed. It's typically used for repairs on some Nissan blocks where the head bolt threads start near the surface. If threads start further down the hole longer tooling will be needed, use Time Sert 11125BS kit.

Includes the Following

Drill

Counterbore

Tap Guide

Insert Installation Driver

Five (5) Steel Inserts 30mm length pn 51125

Question: What makes Time Sert so different than other kits that look similar?

Answer: The unique installation driver finishes the bottom threads (called cold rolling), expanding and locking the insert in from the bottom. No other competitive brand does this.

    Thicker inserts worked!

Used this when a Helicoil failed. This is a much more robust repair. I like how the insert gets locked in much better than other cheaper brands.
