TIME-SERT J-42385-508BS Alignment Dowel for Head Alignment

Single TIME-SERT J-42385-508BS Northstar line-up dowel for use with some Big Sert thread repair kits.

DennisB WiseAutoTools.com The TIME-SERT Big Sert Oversize replacement kits require larger outside diameter alignment dowels. The one in this product listing is insert is for the Cadillac Northstar application. The Time Sert J-42385-500BS has two of the J-42385-508BS dowels included when purchased. These dowels are used in place of the original dowels that com with the motor. The origianal dowels do not have a large enough outside diameter once drilling has been done for the BIG SERT inserts. A total of 4 dowels are needed when installing all head bolts holes on the Northstar block (two per side).
