Description

Time Sert thread repair kit for Duramax 6.6 Liter engines. M10x1.25 DuraMax Diesel 6.6L glow plug thread repair kit to fix glow plug threads over the fender without removing the cylinder head. This kit was specifically designed for this application and is engineered and proudly manufactured in the USA.


The special tooling will ensure the glow plug thread repair is square to the hole. See the video linked above for more information.

Also see the B900-0199 which can sometimes help to remove broken glow plugs in Duramax diesels. There's no broken glow plug remover made specifically for the Duramax, however some of our customers have been successful using the B900-0199 for this purpose.

    Duramax Life Saver!

    Broke a glow plug when trying to change my glowplug. Unfortunately the threads were damaged once I finally got it out. Was considering my options when I found this thread repair kit. Amazing! Ordered the kit and sweated bullets. To my surprise, the kit was really easy to use. Duramax Life Saver!
